The IPCIC project aims at creating innovative courses in highly demanded construction professions and promotional materials for construction worker occupation. Currently in all EU countries there are not enough qualified construction workers. Project will address that demand through creating innovative and widely available course materials for the most needed construction professions, for people willing to requalify or complement their knowledge. Innovation of materials, among other aspects, will rely on creating instructional movies for course manuals. The project will promote the use of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) to increase language competences among learners from various fields of education, as the manuals will be commonly available in four languages versions (PL, ENG, LT, IT).
Contents of the didactic materials, prepared on the basis of experience of international Partnership will strengthen possibility of construction workers mobility across EU. Project will strengthen cooperation between industry and education sector. The project will promote access to and learning through Open Educational Resources(OER), as the didactic materials will be available for all interested parties on the internet. It is promoting stronger coherence between different EU and national transparency and recognition tools, supporting recognition and validation of non-formal and informal learning.
Target groups and dissemination of IPCIC project are: Young people, participants of CPD courses, young technicians, construction workers, stakeholders and associations in the construction sector, SMEs and companies (construction sector); Providers of future courses: Vocational schools, technical schools (primary and secondary – depending on the national systems terminology; VET providers, teachers, mentors; construction companies (training departments) and local authorities. Results of the project will be disseminated in vocational schools for young people and adults (VET), local authorities, construction companies and others stakeholders.
