Association Familiale Sainte Thérèse – Etablissement Normandie Formation Avenirs (ENEFA) was founded in 2020 through the merger of ENEFA Normandie Formation Avenirs, a VET providing and adult training organisation founded in 1979 and based in Hérouville-Saint-Clair in Caen, and the Association Institution Familiale Sainte Thérèse (AIFST), created in 1927. ENEFA seeks to minimize unemployment and promote lifelong learning by bringing together trainees and companies through teaching and training activities and strengthening equal opportunities and green skills. It is currently organised in three divisions:

  1. Training Center,
  2. Children’s care services
  3. Professional integration programs.

ENEFA provides training in construction sector, career change and literacy skills. In addition, ENEFA trains students in diverse fields including social working and equal opportunities, innovation, organic farming, e-learning and national and international cooperation. ENEFA is also a hosting company for teaching trainees and/or counselors, develops training material and provides VET. Its services include competency frameworks, syllabi and curricula, training tools to address market needs, development of competencies, best practices, and training from the construction sector to cognitive mediation, certification in French language and basic skills. In the construction sector, ENEFA develops new methods and tools to develop the skills needed by the industry. ENEFA offers training in real construction sites, converting them to learning sites. Trainees benefit from trainers’ expertise in specific techniques and field experience, combined with innovative educational methodology tools like VET. ENEFA has extensive project management experience in projects launched mainly by the Normandy Region Council, the European Social Fund (ESF), the Calvados Department Council and French skills operators. ENEFA has cooperated with local and national organisations to build local or regional offers for its trainees or partners.t.

Polish Association of Building Managers, PL

PABM was formed in cooperation with AEEBC and CIOB – international organizations for the subjects and national European institutions – in order to educate and certificate the managerial building personnel. PSMB works on the non-profit rule. It does not exercise any privileges or the statutory membership imperative for particular professional organizations. The factual basis for the activity of the Association was formed with the support of the European Union resources in order to even out the qualifications of Polish building managers to the European standards and to prepare them to conduct business activity on the international market. The main aims of PSMB are as follows: Supporting obtaining the managerial qualifications essential in conducting professional activity in construction; Help in recognition of the managerial competences on the European Union market; Integration of the managerial activity in building; Cooperation with similar foreign associations.

 

VIESOJI ISTAIGA VILNIAUS STATYBININKU RENGIMO CENTRAS, LT

The Vilnius Builders Training Centre (VSRC) is an institution providing vocational education and training for young people (from 15 years of age) and adults (retraining courses). The Center was founded in 1946 and is one of the main providers of quality vocational education and training in Lithuania.

The Center is a leading institution at the national level in the continuing training system of the building sector. It has methodological expertise in life-long learning, development of qualifications and training schemes. It has been certified with ISO EN 9001 since 2013. The Center offers a diverse range of courses and courses in the areas of Building and Construction. Areas of study include: Brickwork, Joinery and Carpentry, Decoration/Finishing, Furniture crafting, Landscaping, Restoration/Renovation, Building electrical facilities, Plumbing, Real estate services.

Over 1100 students have participated in VSRC courses. The training is performed in workshops and laboratories equipped with up-to-date machinery and tools. All staff at the Center have gained valuable, hands-on experience working in their chosen fields. In 2015 the Center became one of the 14 VET organisations in Lithuania to be awarded the Erasmus+ Mobility Charter. It has contributed to the R&D and implementation of R&D in the training of construction workers on facade building insulation. VSRC participated in the national project relating to the development of the national qualification framework and its adjustment to EQF.

 

AGENZIA PER L’ENERGIA ALTO ADIGE -CASACLIMA, IT

The AGENZIA PER L’ENERGIA ALTO ADIGE – CASACLIMA (AEACC/CasaClima) is a public entity operating as a center of excellence in the field of research and innovation in energy-efficient and sustainable construction since 2002. As a pioneering institution in this field, CasaClima has created a wide range of quality seals for building products and building certifications that describe sustainable construction in a more holistic approach. AEACC is also a well-recognized VET provider in the region, with an extensive number of trainees throughout the years.

The CasaClima method is a validated and recognized quality assurance procedure that considers the entire construction process from the design to on-site audits and finally issuing the CasaClima certification label. CasaClima has certified over 18,000 new buildings and renovation projects. CasaClima has been committed to awareness-raising and consultancy activities for building owners and citizens. A very central pillar is also the education and training of planners and craftsmen on the topics of energy-efficient and sustainable construction. AEACC offers basic, advanced courses and seminars for planners, practical courses for planners and craftsmen, specific courses for craftsmen and information courses for building owners. Trainings cover current issues of sustainable construction methods and components, such as: mechanical ventilation systems, heating appliances, thermal bridges, windows and doors, ICT, photovoltaics, and power storage systems for residential buildings, building insulation, natural lighting, building construction with wood.

In this capacity, AEACC has also been nationally recognized as a competence Center and a certification body for sustainable and energy efficient buildings and construction. AEACC’s expertise comprises of planning and implementation of effective energy and climate policy measures for municipalities and public administration, as well as techniques and measures for improving energy efficiency in small and medium-sized enterprises. The center’s activities include the publishing of the trade magazines “CasaClima DueGradi”, “Energie&Haus”, the construction guidebook “Vademecum CasaClima” and the organisation of international conferences, trade fairs, seminars and informative events. AEACC is an expert organisation for the assessment of the energy- and Life cycle assessment (LCA) efficiency of building materials and components.

 

HELLENIC SOCIETY FOR THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES ASTIKI ETAIRIA, GR

The Hellenic Society for the Promotion of Research and Development Methodologies (PROMEA), was founded in 2006 and it is a non-profit association based in Athens, Greece. PROMEA’s goal is to contribute in addressing societal challenges related to workforce re-training and upskilling, resource efficiency, circular economy, quality improvement in education, inclusiveness, and equal opportunities.

Since its founding, PROMEA systematically develops and manages successful EU-funded research projects and provides services spanning across the project design and implementation life-cycle, bringing substantial added value. Peering with numerous top-notches Further and Higher Education organisations across the EU, PROMEA has been offering continuous vocational training and lifelong learning opportunities to diverse occupational and social groups, with a particular focus on the low-skilled, based on innovative pedagogical methodologies. Its scope of activities includes the following areas:
