Presentation in Warsaw

On 25th May, top tier construction managers from the largest Polish construction companies convened to discuss the project GRINSCO, focusing on green and sustainable insulation systems for buildings.

GRINSCO aims to revolutionize the construction industry by introducing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient insulation solutions. The meeting provided an opportunity to present and examine this innovative project, which has garnered significant attention for its commitment to sustainability.

During the meeting, the attendees engaged in fruitful discussions regarding the development and implementation of green insulation systems. They explored various aspects of GRINSCO, including its technical specifications, materials, and potential benefits for the environment and building occupants.

The construction managers demonstrated great enthusiasm for the project, recognizing its potential to address the pressing need for sustainable construction practices. Their active participation and valuable insights underscored the industry’s dedication to adopting eco-friendly solutions.

Presentation in Warsaw

The closing meeting of Postgraduate Studies “Management in Construction” took place in Warsaw on 24th March 2023 and gathered students, professors, tutors and construction industry professionals involved in the course. The meeting also served as a platform to introduce the public to the Erasmus+ project called GRINSCO – Green Insulation Skills for Construction Workers.

The meeting began with a welcome address from the vice-dean of the faculty, who congratulated the students on completing their studies and thanked the professors and industry professionals for their support. This was followed by a presentation on the GRINSCO project, which aimed to promote the use of green and sustainable practices in insulation technologies in  the construction industry.

The representative of PSMB discussed the goals and objectives of the project, as well as the methodology and expected outcomes. The project involves collaboration between various industry partners across Europe and is funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.

The presentation was followed by a Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the project.

GRINSCO Event during Klimahouse 2023

Klimahouse 2023 took place last week.The CasaClima Agency  can announce an (almost) record-breaking figure: as many as 32,000 visitors came to the exhibition halls to find out about the latest in ‘Building Well, Living Well’. Klimahouse boasts of offering 100 events in four days.

Once again this year, the CasaClima Agency stand was a meeting point for planners, applicators and contractors We hosted 15 events, including the GRINSCO work shop, where we were able to talk to the most important insulation manufacturers and ETIC system suppliers in Italy. Everyone is very curious about the results of the project to provide more information and training for installers to promote GRINSCO insulation throughout Italy and beyond.

Meeting in Athens

On 7-8th February 2023, partners of the GRINSCO project met in Athens, Greece to discuss the progress of the project and plan for the future. During the meeting, the partners reviewed the project schedule and discussed ways to ensure that the project is delivered on time.
They also discussed the progress made so far, including the development of intellectual outputs. The partners reviewed the various outputs and provided feedback on how to improve them.
In addition, the partners discussed plans for the future, including how to disseminate the project’s results to a wider audience. They also talked about the next steps for the project and discussed potential future collaborations.
Overall, the meeting was productive and provided an opportunity for the partners to review the project’s progress, plan for the future, and discuss ways to improve the project’s intellectual outputs.
Furthermore, the meeting was held amidst unexpected frost and snowfall, which surprised everyone. Despite the weather conditions, the partners were able to successfully carry out the meeting and engage in productive discussions.

Presentation in Mikołajki

The GRINSCO project was presented at the annual conference in Mikołajki, Poland on November 25th, 2022. The project focuses on developing innovative green solutions for insulations for the construction industry. The presentation covered planned intellectual outputs, as well as gathering opinions and sparking discussion among attendees. About 60 people were present, including representatives from construction companies, the construction industry, and government officials. The conference was organized by PSMB, and the presentation was well-received by attendees.
